Mya's first day in our home has been challenging. She is a very sweet scared girl. All the home noises are new to her. Phone ringing, TV, dogs barking because dad's home.
She hardly ate or drank all day. I placed a crate in the living area of the house and left the door open so she can go in and out as she likes. She mostly stays inside. She had some canned food for dinner and ate all of it so that is what we will be having for a week or so and I will slowly add dry food. She came home with lots of meds and I will be giving those to her tonight.
It breaks my heart to see poor Mya like this. She is hard to catch in the house. She won't come to you. No tail wags and she is yet to bark :( So so sad to see such a sweet beautiful girl so empty inside. Hopefully with lots of love and positive praise we can work with her to get her through this and make some one a forever fur baby.
